Everything starting to look orange

It's Halloween, the one time of year when if you really want to, you can get away with acting like a 7-year-old and no one will look at you funny... well almost nobody... hey Tulsa, don't judge me!

Here's the latest installment of Shawagg

And if that's not enough carve this! It's the virtual pumpkin for those who are stuck in the office and unable to visit the grocery story or traveling vendor for a tangerine goard. What? I'm not bitter.

Now go out there and be anything but a pirate... seriously, enough already.

Happy Halloween, later.

I was on KQED's NPR?

So the last couple day's I've received a few odd phone calls and comments from folks in the hall at I walked about the journalism department... "Nice job, but are you sure it's a good thing?" ... "I woke up today to your voice"... "You're not as dumb as you act."

Last Friday I was interviewed over the phone for an article on the college media bill and I did not know it at the time, but it was for the radio.

Last Tuesday I was on National Public Radio, or so they tell me. I didn't actually hear myself, but a few people that listen to NPR came by or e-mailed me that they heard me. I was interviewed for a story on the new college media bill that congressman Yee pushed through. It was an interesting process, basically I just happened to have kept up with the topic and when the announced call came I luckily knew what I was talking about.

It's interesting being on the other side of an interview, it truly is a craft to put people at ease and ask the right questions. It's also interesting being a journalist how knowing how the game is played, I started to flow with his questions and rhythm.

I hope I sounded good, I have no idea.

I tried to search for it online, but no luck. If anyone knows where I could find it, that'd be awesome, it'd be interesting to see how it is to be on the other side of the mic.
